Who We Work With
Kindling Minds supports children and young people who may be finding learning challenging, overwhelming, or frustrating. Support is calm, personalised, and focused on building confidence first.
I commonly work with learners who:
• Have lost confidence in their learning
• Feel anxious or overwhelmed about school
• Find homework stressful or difficult
• Learn differently or need extra support
• Are disengaged or struggling with motivation
• Would benefit from calm, personalised support
• Need help building organisation or independence skills
• Would benefit from coaching alongside tutoring
I also work closely with parents and carers, offering guidance and reassurance along the way. Supporting the whole family helps create lasting, meaningful progress.
Whether your child needs gentle encouragement, practical strategies, or confidence-building support, Kindling Minds provides a calm and understanding space where they can grow.

Questions You Might Have
Here to help clarify and support you:
-
That's absolutely okay. You don't need a diagnosis to access support. If you've noticed your child learns differently or is struggling in traditional settings, we can work together to understand their unique needs and provide appropriate support.
-
With your permission, I can communicate with teachers and support staff to share strategies and ensure consistency. This collaboration helps create a supportive environment both at school and at home.
-
This is flexible and based on your needs. Typically, we have a brief check-in after each session, with more detailed progress discussions every few weeks. You're also welcome to reach out anytime with questions or concerns.
-
As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I understand the challenges firsthand. My approach is strength-based, celebrating what makes your child unique rather than focusing on deficits. It's compassionate, practical, and rooted in both lived experience and educational expertise.
The Mind Behind
Kindling Minds
As someone with dyslexia and autism, I know what it feels like to learn differently and to be overlooked in school. It wasn't until a few exceptional educators believed in me and adapted their approach that I began to truly thrive.
I started Kindling Minds to create the kind of learning space I once needed: one that's inclusive, compassionate, and tailored to each child's unique way of thinking.
My goal is simple: to support children in a way that makes sense to them, building not just academic skills, but confidence, wellbeing, and self-belief.
