Building Differently
Honest reflections on Education, disability, neurodivergence and creating inclusive systems that work in the real world!
A little day in the life… and a very honest chat at the end.
A real, unfiltered day in the life of running Kindling Minds as a neurodivergent, disabled founder.
This post shares the honest middle… the spinning thoughts, the exhaustion, the gratitude, and the people who quietly change your trajectory. It’s about growth that isn’t tidy, support that steadies you, and learning that your voice matters.
If you’ve ever felt stretched but hopeful at the same time, this one’s for you.
Why Play Based Learning Matters (Especially for Neurodivergent Children!)

Feeling Lost in Your Twenties: Finding Direction When Life Feels Uncertain
Do you ever feel a little lost, even when life finally seems to be taking shape? You’ve finished education, you’re working hard, building a career or business you care about, maybe even in a loving relationship, and yet, something still feels missing.
I’m 26, officially “out in the world,” running a business I’m proud of, and in a wonderful, honest relationship where we talk about everything, dreams, fears, and the future we want to build together. On paper, it sounds like everything’s falling into place.
And yet, some days, I feel completely adrift.
That quiet sense of uncertainty - the feeling of shouldn’t I have figured this out by now? is something many of us experience in our twenties and thirties. You can be grateful for what you have and still feel unsure of where you’re heading. You can be excited about your goals and still overwhelmed by how far away they seem.
